Networking: Place NW Greater Manchester Development Update

OEA enjoyed Place North West's recent event at Manchester's Science + Industry Museum with inspiring presentations from Ian Simpson on Simpson Haugh's Great Jackson Street development and the southern arc development plans and Cllr Arooj Shah, leader of Oldham Council, on the council's town centre redevelopment plans.

Interesting panel discussions on the state of the cities, and the state of the towns prompting wider debates on the climate emergency, and the importance of community engagement in place-making for the future.
