Planning News : iQSA Paris Gardens, Southwark

Planning permission was granted in January 2021 for O'Connell East Architect's rooftop extensions to 6 Paris Garden, Southwark.

The existing development was completed in 2013, and is a mixed-use scheme comprising two student residential blocks linked by a raised courtyard, with the Central School of Ballet (CSB) occupying the lower floors of the Hatfields Block.

In 2018, OEA were engaged by iQSA to develop proposals for additional student residential and amenity spaces as part of two rooftop extensions replacing the existing Hatfields common room and roof terrace with new, higher quality spaces on top of the Paris Gardens building.

ANYO were brought into the project to provide interior design services for the new common room facility in support of the planning stage proposals.
